San Diego Leaders Pastors Dan and Sarah Shepler
- Dan Shepler became a Christian in 1979 in response to a miracle healing
in his back that occurred while visiting an Assembly of God church.
- Dan and his wife, Sarah, co-labored in a church plant named Ramona
Vineyard Christian Fellowship starting in 1986.
- In 1993, Dan and Sarah co-wrote and directed a program called the Julian Youth
Academy. This program was
a residential private Christian
School for high-risk
teens. (In conjunction with the Josh McDowell and Teen Rescue ministries). Working
full-time for over 4½ years
- In 1998, Dan and Sarah joined the leadership team of the Third Day
Churches network (www.thirddaychurches.com). We meet
regionally with emphasis on equipping God’s apostolic/prophetic move in the house
churches of today. Dan is also a Board
member of third day churches
- In the year 2000, Dan and Sarah opened the San Diego Healing Rooms (www.sandiegohealingrooms.com)
as Directors of this new work. The Healing Rooms are an apostolic ministry to
the church in the city with an average of over 100 workers from over 40
churches. Praying on an average of 50 people per day. We have planted 4 healing
rooms this year and soon to be 5, our goal is to put a healing room in every
city of San Diego
and have one open everyday of the week. We have experienced a dramatic shift in
the faith level of the church because of the many documented healings.
- Multiplying the Healing Rooms message as Region 8 (covering over 40
healing rooms in Southern California, Arizona
& New Mexico) as Regional Coordinators for
the International Association of Healing Rooms (www.healingrooms.com),
they have provided much training for new healing rooms in their region as well
as internationally.
- They have also ministered in Korea,
Russia, Germany, Ensenada
& TJ, Mexico, and The Philippines. Also India where they have planted 86 rooms this year
in 11 states, with plans to go back to Korea
and India
again this year.
